“Earth Embassy” is the newest single from Kousto – the fast-rising UK producer, supported by Disclosure, with his summer 2020 hit “The Job” from The Aquarium Effect.


The second wave of lockdown has been another hammer shot to all creatives, in the music industry and on a wider scope. Every artist or producer who was relying on gigs and festivals had to retreat to their home, once again, with nothing else than their creativity in their hands – that, and an uncertain future.

“Earth Embassy” is a metaphor representing all people impacted by COVID-19 working and creating in the unknown; it is that deep far away ocean, a myriad of mystery with endless possibilities for beauty and life.

With little understanding of what the future holds, we must continue creating each day, dreaming for a better tomorrow and a return to normality. Just like us, the ocean’s jellyfish illuminate the darkness, finding their way, no matter what obstacles and dangers that lie ahead, offering beauty and representing the hope we all feel in these dark and challenging times. 



During lockdown 2.0, Kousto had time to reflect, create, and experiment. This song represents the joy we all live for, but has been put on hold for too long. It is an explosion of feelings, a call to dance. It is the lighthouse for lost souls, who, in the face of uncertain times, want to experience hope’s horizon through music.



Warm and wide open with dreamy chords, “Earth Embassy” is an invitation to the universe of life once again. Featuring classic piano chords and a feel-good bass line, Kousto’s much-anticipated newest single is the track we’ve all been waiting too long to hear.
